Foresters Incorporated offers a range of services to help you implement sound management activities on your property. These activities can include:

  • Marking boundary lines to clearly define your property

  • Inspecting your trees for "timber trespass" during or after neighboring logging operations
    • Should we discover that loggers have cut your timber without permission, we can evaluate the value of your loss and help you take appropriate actions

  • Inspecting your forest for insect or disease

  • Evaluating damage from storms or ice
    • You may be able to claim such losses on your taxes; our staff will work with you to determine the value and help you through the process.

    • Releasing "crop trees" - i.e. cutting some trees to allow more desirable species to flourish
    • Improving habitat for specific wildlife species
    • Improving the aesthetic or recreational value of your forest

  • Seeding roads or woodland openings to improve habitat and/or control erosion

  • Laying out roads or trails properly to minimize environmental impacts and maintenance efforts over time.
    • Combining our experience with topographic layout with the ability to identify optimal road and trail locations using Global Positioning Systems, we will explore a wide variety of possible alternatives to choose the layout that best suits your objectives.
